Confined Space speaks to the evolution of perception and addresses the duality of existence. Inspired by Plato's Cave it gives an opportunity to change perspective and experience the state of becoming through the ongoing interactive flow. The installation creates a precedent of realizing evolution through comparison. This art object creates three streams of the audience. “Prisoners” and “Reality Shapers” are interacting by entering the space from opposite sides of the volume. The third stream is “Philosopher” which observes ongoing shadow play from outside, through a translucent surface. It speaks to the continuum of interpretation and searches for true forms, however, only shadows of the forms can be seen. Confined Space brings the attention of the audience to the fact that shadows are often seen and perceived as reality, in a continuous urge of new experiences, and offers an opportunity to advance the perception.
