NATALIA BAKAEVA

Natalia is an architectural designer, installation artist, registered OAA Intern Architect and the co-founder of Interspatial design collective based in Toronto, Canada. She received her Master’s Degree in Architecture and Urbanism from the London Metropolitan University (UK) in collaboration with Moscow Architecture School (Russia) with internship placement in M57 Arquitectos, Granada (Spain) and merit in 2014. She also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture and Construction Management Certificate. Natalia had a number of recent exhibitions, art installations and design proposals in Toronto, including projects built for: BIG on Bloor Festival '17 (City Blocks), Place and Placement exhibition '17 (Worm Hole), PULP Reclaimed Materials: Art Party '17 (Volume and Void), Laneway Summit '16 and Evergreen Brick Works '16 (Inverted Valleys). Natalia’s work also includes architectural photography, drawing, and interior design. Projects reviews have been featured in Urban Toronto, BlogTO, Now Magazine and etc. Natalia currently works as an intern architect in Toronto, Canada and being involved in residential, educational and commercial projects.
